2015 District Convention


This page contains information about our 2015 district convention, held on the 4th and 5th of September, 2015 in Cook's Bay, Mooréa, French Polynesia at the Hotel Kaveka.  The convention was hosted by the Kiwanis clubs of Division 7.

Mooréa - The Magical Isle :
Believed to have inspired the mythical Bali Hai from James Michener's Tales of the South Pacific, Mooréa is one of the most scenically striking islands in French Polynesia.  For ideas about the activities on Mooréa, check out this link :  Moorea Activities and Sites.

About the Venue and Accommodation:
The convention was held at Hotel Kaveka in Cook's Bay, Mooréa, French Polynesia.  Some accommodation was available at the hotel.  Alternative accommodation was available within a few kilometers of the Hotel Kaveka.  All workshops, meetings and social events were held at the Hotel Kaveka.

Registration Fees:
The full registration fee for all Kiwanis members and partners was NZ$325.  This included convention sessions, evening meals and functions on the Friday and the Saturday and the partners program for partners.
 
Partial registrations were available for evening functions, the partners program and for business sessions only.

The Kiwanis clubs of Division 7 provided a unique and interesting and fun experience for the district Kiwanians and their partners at the convention.
